Mum left baffled after she went outside and found a huge swing set ‘parked’ on top of her son’s car
A mum was left scratching her head after discovering an enormous swing set mysteriously ‘parked’ on top of her teenage son’s car, sparking a whirlwind of confusion and speculation.
Taking to Facebook to share the strange event, the Queensland mum wrote: ‘Between [7pm and 10:30pm], a whole entire swing set was left literally on my teen son’s car… What the f**k… We have no clue who could even do such a thing.’
Accompanying the baffling scene was the sheer impracticality of the prank.
‘It doesn’t look like a light swing set either. What makes it worse is they could have just left it on the front lawn as there was plenty of space. Now we have two swing sets,’ she added.
As neighbours and friends weighed in, theories ran wild.
Could it have been a drunkard? Or perhaps a mischievous member of her son’s friend group? The mum admitted the setup looked ‘too straight’ to be a random act of vandalism.
Among the flood of comments, one person joked: ‘I can’t imagine how confused you would’ve been like, ‘I don’t remember parking under a swing set?’
Another quipped: ‘Slashing tyres is out, putting whole ass swing sets on cars is IN.’

One commenter marvelled at the uniqueness of the situation, saying, ‘I think you’ve just had an original experience.
Others expressed envy over the unexpected gift: ‘Pretty annoyed that I had to pay $600 for my daughter’s swing set and didn’t just find one on my car.’
One parent added, ‘I wish someone gave me a swing set already made. It was a hassle to put together the Bunnings one for Christmas.’
Another praised the logistics of the prank: ‘You know what, that’s actually quite impressive. To not break it during this heist is amazing!’
After hours of puzzling over the incident, the mystery was finally solved.
‘I HAVE AN UPDATE ON THE MYSTERY AU SWING SET,’ the mum wrote in a hilarious follow-up.
It turned out the culprits were none other than her own son and his best mate.
The teens had orchestrated the elaborate prank to ‘mess’ with her, unaware that their antics would end up on social media for the world to see.

‘They didn’t know I was going to post to Facebook,’ she revealed.
‘It took me reading one particular comment for me to question if they did it – and they did. They really had me going. Talk about embarrassing… worst part is I can’t even be mad.’
Some commenters shared their own tales of bizarre car pranks: ‘I once had a neighbour place two entire full wheelie bins on mine and my friend’s car on the roof,’ one wrote.
Another sympathised, ‘My son went through a phase where he’d wake up to egg on his car every morning.’
Others imagined the hilarity of the moment, saying: ‘Imagine being the neighbour watching this unfold.’
