
A wannabe model has been hit with child sexual abuse and bestiality charges following a federal police investigation.
Cody Asplet, 27, from Sydney was charged with 92 offences allegedly carried out between 2022 and 2024, reported The Herald Sun.
An Instagram page belonging to Asplet, that had 13,000 followers and which he has deleted, reportedly featured him in pictures with an array of different dogs under his care.
The offending allegedly occurred in Melbourne and Asplet has since moved back to Sydney.
He fronted Melbourne Magistrates Court last week via video-link where gag order over the case – put in place to protect the secrecy of the Australian Federal Police investigation – was lifted.
More than 1,000 pages was submitted to the court as part of the brief of evidence.
Police allege Asplet ‘intentionally penetrated an animal’ on or before November 29, 2023 in South Melbourne.

He is accused of bestiality offences while he lives in Melbourne between 2022 and 2024
Asplet is also accused of using a carriage service to access or transmit child abuse material and of using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.
Asplet had been charged following the AFP investigation which had been looking into an online group who were allegedly sharing child abuse material.
He had been an aspiring model for nearly a decade but does not appear to have done any high profile work.
He will reappear in court in March.
