Ministry of Labor: Intensifying review and follow-up of the activity of labor recruitment companies abroad and at home

The Ministry of Labor’s statement today, Friday, said: We have noticed during the recent period that some labor recruitment companies have not adhered to the law, which has exposed them to withdrawing their licenses, after it was proven that they charge sums of money outside the percentage stipulated in the law, as well as not keeping books to register workers, and also writing contracts. To citizens with sums of money, and when the worker arrives at the place of implementation of the contract, it becomes clear that the contract violates what is stipulated.

 

Therefore, the Ministry of Labor calls on all companies to adhere to the prescribed activity. According to the license obtained from the Ministry, so that it is not subject to the withdrawal of the license and the impact on the reputation of the Egyptian worker abroad. 

 

The Ministry also calls on citizens to deal only with companies that have registered Obtain a license from the Ministry of Labor, and not deal with fictitious companies, and refer to the company licensing office in the Ministry and the directorates in all governorates, to ensure that these companies obtain a license, as well as documenting the contract before the worker travels abroad, to preserve rights, as well as obtaining a license. Professional examination for professions that require this.

 

The Ministry of Labor is also working to facilitate Egyptian workers’ access to any services for free, and follow-ups and reviews will be organized with companies that work in this field. Scope, and cooperation, to preserve the rights of citizens, and to ensure that they comply with the provisions of the Labor Law.
