The Information and Decision Support Center of the Council signed The Ministers signed a memorandum of understanding with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States; To implement joint cooperation projects between the two sides in the fields of strategic documentation, archiving, informatics, and knowledge accumulation, and to contribute to building the capabilities of individuals in the areas of digital transformation and spreading the culture of documentation and its mechanisms.
This came during the celebration that It was held on the occasion of Arab Document Day at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, which was attended by Abu Al-Hussein Al-Hindawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, representing Ambassador Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, and Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, President The Arab Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives, and Dr. Rushdieh Rabie, Head of the Central Administration of the National Archives, representing the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno.

At the same time, Dr. Osama Al-Gohary stressed the importance of the ongoing cooperation between the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States and the Center Information and decision-making support, through the Strategic Documentation Center in the project documenting “Egypt and the League of Arab States over 80 years,” under the umbrella of the Arab national project “Documenting the Memory of the League of Arab States.”

The head of the Information Center added: This project documents the history of the Arab countries in their relations with the League of Arab States, which is a rich history in the path of the Arab nation with all the challenges, crises and positions it has brought that form part of the identity and history of the Arab nation. The project aims to digitally document the process of joint Arab action since the idea of its founding was crystallized in 1942.
During the celebration activities, the speakers pointed to the necessity of creating a unified and secure Arab record, With the necessity of using electronic document systems and clean energy in the archiving environment, in addition to the importance of using the latest technologies for safe disposal of electronic waste, stressing at the same time the importance of sustainable archives in promoting sustainable knowledge and documenting variables;
