Ministers’ information: 268 million pounds to develop the waste management system in Cairo

The Information and Decision Support Center of the Council of Ministers published a statement by the Minister of Environment. Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, said that the volume of investments provided by the Ministry to develop the integrated waste management system in Cairo Governorate amounted to 268 million pounds, indicating that a great deal of progress has been made in building infrastructure. Infrastructure for an integrated waste system, and work is being done to complete it in all governorates of the Republic in cooperation with many parties in this file. The system includes several programs, including the establishment of infrastructure, including landfills, factories, and intermediate stations.
