Minister of Planning: The private sector has recently succeeded in presenting highly successful projects in Egypt and expanding in Africa

Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, said that the private sector has recently succeeded in presenting highly successful projects in Egypt, explaining that these projects have begun to expand in Africa.

This came during a session entitled "From local to global: Egypt’s Small and Medium Grants Program is a unique model in localizing climate action and promoting sustainable urbanization" On the sidelines of the World Urban Forum in its twelfth session, which Egypt is hosting from November 4 to 8 of this year.

 

Al-Mashat explained: The public sector has implemented many projects, and in contrast, there are very many and distinctive projects from the private sector, explaining that emerging companies also have a distinctive imprint in the field of investments and partnerships.

 

She pointed out that Every project needs to grow and be highlighted, especially in light of a competitive world, explaining that the government is working to highlight many projects, but it cannot shed light on all projects due to their large number.

She stressed that the projects that have an impact and are able to survive are the only ones capable of growth and excellence, pointing out that the government is conducting a survey and inventory of its stock of projects; So that you can determine the reasons behind the implementation of projects, and find out whether this was due to the company itself having an innovation, or was there something the government did that helped the project, or did the government move away from the project?.

She noted that the inventory inventory process will provide some guidance and produce effective results in this scope, stressing that the state is keen to see the success of the projects and their growth to become larger.

 

< p>She said that Egypt is one of the countries that has succeeded in providing a role model in providing potable water to its people in accordance with the required standards, stressing that all cities have the right to enjoy the presence of potable water, and to be able to verify the suitability of the water for drinking.

 

She thanked some of the successful Egyptian models who became mediating representatives of the dynamic nature of the smart initiative, hoping that they would be able to transfer their experiences in all fields that they won in international competitions and acquired to create a conscious and distinguished generation.< /p>
