Minister of Housing: Egypt has set a wonderful example and role model in organizing a global event of the size of the Forum
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, confirmed that Egypt has set a wonderful example and role model in organizing a global event the size of the World Urban Forum, as evidenced by the number of participants in this session compared to previous sessions over the past years.
Sherbiny confirmed, in a special statement to the Middle East News Agency on Friday, that Egypt is capable, with its cadres and expertise, of dazzling the world in all the forums it organizes or in which it participates, as the number of participants in the World Urban Forum exceeded about 24 thousand participants from various countries of the world.
The Minister of Housing explained that the events included the presence and participation of about 60 ministers and deputy ministers, in addition to huge numbers of officials who were able to present for discussion all the challenges. That we all face in the field of sustainable urban development, to exchange experiences and ideas on how to confront these challenges and proposed solutions, and to coordinate efforts through international partnerships to put them into effect.
