For his part, the Japanese ambassador stressed that Egypt is one of the important countries to cooperate with it in the field of environment and climate, especially in the fields of mitigation and reducing plastic pollution that is a priority for Japan, and with the current cooperation in the Port Said initiative project to improve the efficiency of plastic waste management, And the project to enhance the practices of the circular economy in the single -use plastic value chain in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. It will achieve great benefits for the two countries, especially with the agreement of the Egyptian and Japanese Presidents during the G20 meeting on the importance of encouraging the rotating economy practices to meet the effects of climate change.
