Mike Tirico reveals he suffered a major injury during NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ broadcast

Mike Tirico called the Philadelphia Eagles win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football less than a week after tearing Achilles. 

Tirico revealed the injury during the broadcast and reportedly suffered the ailment while missing a step at his home last Monday. 

Fellow NBC commentator Chris Collinsworth joked with Tirico about his injury live on air, with the broadcast showing a unique camera angle pointed at the 57-year-old’s left leg to show him sitting down.
