Mica Miller’s pastor husband John Paul has home raided by FBI months after he ‘drove her to suicide’

A pastor whose wife died in a notorious suicide has had his South Carolina home raided by the FBI.

Bureau officials searched the Myrtle Beach home of John Paul Miller Friday, six months after he announced wife Mica’s suicide in a bizarre sermon.

Agents told WBTW they are ‘conducting court authorized law enforcement activity’ at the lavish property, but refused to comment further.

Neighbors said they’d been told agents were there to execute a search warrant, with Miller not believed to be at home when law enforcement arrived.

Multiple trucks were pictured outside Miller’s home as the raid began, with agents wearing uniforms that said ‘Evidence Response Team.’

They could be seen donning gloves an bringing bags from one of the trucks while preparing to enter the home.

Mica shot herself dead in Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, South Carolina, in April.

Haunting surveillance footage showed her buying a gun at a pawn shop shortly before her death, then driving into the remote area where she ended her life.

There’s no suggestion Miller was directly involved in his wife’s death.

But allegations of abuse and infidelity began to swirl shortly after he announced Mica’s passing at Market Common Church.

In May this year, DailyMail.com revealed how Miller’s church has a property portfolio worth at least $5.59 million, and a four-seat plane worth $430,000.

Scrutiny has been mounting on Solid Rock Ministries after it was revealed that church leaders plan to allow John-Paul Miller back to the pulpit following allegations of ‘sexual encounters’ with underage girls.

Mica’s sister Sierra also filed legal documents accusing Miller and Solid Rock of ‘colluding’ to ‘defraud and deprive’ the 30-year-old of her fair share of property after he ‘sold’ their home to the church.

Public documents obtained by DailyMail.com show that Solid Rock Ministries was granted tax-exempt status in 2015 according to IRS filings.

Miller’s home address in Horry County is now owned by Solid Rock Ministries – he sold it to them in December 2023, two months after Mica initially filed for divorce and asked that the property be split equally between them.

Filings by Sierra’s lawyer accuse Miller of selling the property for $169,331.31, which they argue is ‘significantly less’ than the true value of the property.

Records seen by DailyMail.com show that the taxable value of the property is $240,000, around $70,000 more than what Miller sold it for.

Last month it emerged that Miller had filed court documents to set up a new religious movement Living Water Church at Market Common, Newsweek reports.
