Ferial Park in Port Said Governorate is distinguished by its aesthetic views that attract thousands from all over the republic and even foreign countries as well, which dates back to before its opening in the presence of Princess Ferial.
The site of Faryal Park was a tennis court occupied by the US Air Force during World War II, before it was transformed into a park inaugurated by Princess Feryal.
The garden was for women and children, and men were forbidden from entering. The sea and front doors had a policeman to enforce the law, and in the middle of the garden there was a wooden music booth in which the police or shelter band played Western and Egyptian music on Sundays.
The Faryal Historical Park is located in the Sharq district of Port Said, on an area of 21,904 square metres. It is a witness to the history of Port Said. Its opening witnessed a solemn ceremony during the opening of the Suez Canal after it was dug in the presence of princes and kings of the world.
