Meghan Markle‘s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, will be back for a second season, and it seems the Duchess is still sprinkling her magic dust all over Montecito. Despite some pretty mixed reviews, Netflix is clearly sold on the idea of more flower-arranging, cooking, and general lifestyle loveliness.
The show is all about Meghan sharing her personal tips and tricks for making life a bit more beautiful, without stressing too much about perfection. However, critics haven’t exactly been raving about it since it’s premiere on 4 March (USA time).
The Independent‘s Katie Rosseinsky called it “queasy and exhausting” and The Telegraph‘s Anita Singh called the show an “exercise in narcissism” where “Meghan invites people to her pretend house” and “they tell her how amazing she is”.
Variety described it as “a Montecito ego trip not worth taking”, suggesting that “no amount of praise seems enough” for Meghan.
On the other hand, some reviewers have actually enjoyed the show. Harper’s Bazaar noted that it strikes a nice balance between being a fun peek into Meghan’s life and offering some genuinely useful lifestyle tips.
Vogue also appreciated the more hands-on segments, like flower arranging and cooking, saying they’re “interesting and relatable”.
Netflix’s announcement about the second season was as playful, urging fans not to “put away your flower sprinkles just yet” as With Love, Meghan will return later in the year (America’s fall season). I’m thinking we’ll be getting a lot of pumpkin spice recipes.
The second season has actually already completed filming, so fans can look forward to more of Meghan’s hosting tips and culinary adventures soon.
Meghan celebrated the news on her Instagram Story writing, “Lettuce romaine calm… or not (!) because I’m thrilled to share that Season 2 of With Love, Meghan is coming!”

Fans shared their excitement of the season two news online, with one X user writing, “Excellent decision! Bring on hosting tips for the holidays. Let’s goooo!”
Another said, “Yes!!!! Season 1 was fantastic!”

Others are skeptical of how well the show was really received, seeing that Netflix already ordered (and filmed) two seasons before the first came out.
But, it seems that Netflix is backing the duchess all the way. In addition to the show, Meghan has also launched a lifestyle brand called As Ever, developed in partnership with Netflix. The brand will feature seasonal products like flower sprinkles, teas, and baking mixes, which will be available starting this spring (American spring). She really is out here living that rom-com, Pinterest-perfect dream.
While opinions about With Love, Meghan are certainly divided, one thing is clear: Meghan Markle is committed to going all in on lifestyle entertainment. Has anyone checked on Martha Stewart recently??
