Meghan Markle’s $20,000 red carpet accessorises: Duchess teams her Oscar de la Renta gown with Cartier bracelet, tennis necklace and sentimental eternity ring from Prince Harry
Meghan Markle put on a dazzling display in an elegant black evening gown and $20,000 (£15,722) worth of accessories, as she took to the red carpet yesterday evening.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, arrived at the The Paley Center to support her friend Tyler Perry at The Paley Honors gala in Beverley Hills.
She donned a custom strapless black evening gown from luxury label Oscar de la Renta, which featured a daring split.
The mother-of-two paired the outfit with a pair of simple yet classic custom heels from French label Celine for the occasion.
Meghan injected further glamour to her outfit with a exquisite diamond $14,000 (£10,990) Logan Hollowell tennis necklace, which she paired with rings by Lorraine Schwartz and Engender, according to Marie Claire.
The 43-year-old, who also sported her favourite $6,360 (£5,000) Cartier Love Bracelet, had her glossy brunette tresses styled into her trademark low bun for the event by hair stylist Hector, who goes by @hectorssworld on Instagram.
Meghan added a sentimental eternity ring from Lorraine Schwartz to her ensemble, which was gifted to her by Prince Harry to celebrate a year of marriage. The stones on the gold band hold the birthstones of both Harry, Meghan and baby Archie’s feature on the underside of the ring, out of public view.
Makeup artist Daniel Martin, who did Meghan’s make up for her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, carried out the royal’s beauty regime yesterday evening, completing the glowy look off with a touch of pink lip gloss.

Meghan and husband Prince Harry, 40, were part of the Tribute Host Committee Chairs for the event, though he was not present on the red carpet. Harry was in New York at the annual DealBook Summit, where he revealed that he and wife Meghan Markle have no plans to return to the UK with Archie and Lilibet.
He said said his focus was on “being the best husband and the best dad that I can be” – and claimed that due to security concerns in Britain there are things his two children ‘undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the UK’.
Former Suits star Meghan was at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel to cheer on Perry, 55, as the Paley Center for Media honored the visionary director, actor and philanthropist with a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of his career. Perry was also the recipient of the Paley Honors Award at the soirée.
The actress and her husband have a close friendship with the billionaire filmmaker, who is the godfather of their three-year-old daughter, Lilibet.
In September, Meghan and Harry — who have reportedly taken a ‘twin track’ approach to public appearances, that will see them doing more things on their own rather than together — attended Perry’s star-studded birthday bash with Oprah.
Perry — who previously said Meghan treated him ‘like a therapist’ after quitting the royal family — also famously let the pair stay in his Santa Barbara home when they first moved to America.
The Six Triple Eight filmmaker looked dapper for the night, wearing a black tuxedo with a black button-up underneath.
While on the red carpet he and the 43-year-old royal shared a tender hug and chatted together.
