Matrouh Governor: Continuing to raise preparedness in light of weather fluctuations and expected rain
Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, confirmed that the degree of preparedness and emergency will continue to be raised in all 8 centers and cities of the governorate, to deal with instability in weather conditions, and to deal with the effects of rain falling expected during the period, according to the forecasts of the Meteorological Authority, and to work through coordination and cooperation. between the sectors concerned and fully prepared to confront any emergency event.
The Governor of Matrouh stressed the continued alertness of all relevant agencies, especially the drinking water and sanitation company, city councils, and civil protection, with field traffic when rain falls, to continue accelerating the removal of water accumulations from all regions, to facilitate the movement of cars and citizens.
He pointed out that all relevant sectors are raising their state of preparedness throughout the fall and winter seasons, as this period witnesses rainfall and instability in weather conditions, and the maximum level of preparedness is raised, with warnings received from the Meteorological Authority and expectations of weather changes and rainfall.
The main operations room in the governorate works 24 hours a day, in coordination with the sub-operations rooms in centers and cities, and the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, to follow up on unstable weather conditions, quickly respond to citizens’ reports and deal immediately with them, and continuous follow-up and coordination between all relevant executive agencies.
