Married At First Sight’s Jacqui Burfoot busted posting with Clint Rice’s social media account after the couple announced their shock engagement

When it comes to boasting about his qualities, it seems Clint Rice prefers to let the women in his life do the talking.

The Married At First Sight star, 44, shocked viewers when he proposed to bride Jacqui Burfoot during a watch party event on Sunday.

Now, Jacqui, 29, has been ‘busted’, by Instagram watchdog MAFS Uncensored, speaking on her groom’s behalf on social media as she appeared to comment on one of their shared posts using her new fiancé’s account.

The eagle-eyed gossip account uncovered the faux-pas on Thursday, sharing an image which showed the newly minted couple kissing after Clint’s shock proposal.

But it wasn’t the image that was the star here, but rather a comment on the post, purportedly written by Clint.

However, it soon became obvious it was Jacqui speaking for her soon-to-be husband.

‘He NAILED it!!!’ the comment read, which was posted by Clint’s account.

‘My man is a genius! Literally broke the internet!! Stole the show!! This will probably be the best moment of my life. Ever, ever, evahhhh.’

The gossip account shared a second image which showed Jacqui commenting a VERY similar sentiment on another post, this time under her own handle.

‘He nailed it!’ the second post familiarly began.

‘My man is a show stopper!! He LITERALLY stopped the show and basically broke the internet to give me the most outrageous, raw, real, unfiltered, unforgettable memory of my life.’

Jacqui continued to gush about Clint, adding: ‘He knows me too well—he’s a genius, he thinks of everything, a true alpha—and that’s why I love him.

Captioning the images, the gossip account had some words of advice for the lovebirds.

‘Oooops… maybe a joint his and hers account may be easier to navigate atm,’ the caption read.

Clint, made the shock proposal to Jacqui during a MAFS viewing party in Sydney on Sunday evening.

In footage shared to TikTok, the Tasmanian-based businessman is seen on one knee popping the question to his ladylove, before producing an impressive diamond ring. 

It wasn’t long before an elated Jacqui said ‘yes’, scooping up her hunk and planting a joyous kiss on his smiling lips.

Later in the footage, Jacqui proudly flashed her blinding diamond sparkler to her adoring MAFS fans as she grinned with glee.

Following the announcement, Jacqui’s reality groom Ryan Donnelly slammed the shock announcement.

He previously claimed his on-screen bride was ‘never really on the show to find love’.

In a no-holds-barred interview with Daily Mail Australia, Ryan revealed how Jacqui formed a secret connection with Clint while they were still married, all while maintaining what he called ‘an agenda’ to control her narrative.

Ryan didn’t hold back when asked why he thought his marriage with Jacqui imploded so dramatically.

‘Her motivation was to be the main character (of the show), I think,’ he said bluntly.
