A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in the chest in a carpark.
Emergency services rushed to Lakefield Drive in North Lakes, north of Brisbane, following reports a man had been shot in the chest.
The 42-year-old man was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A crime scene was declared at the carpark and investigations are underway.
Police said there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
