Man City prospect Issa Kabore is set for the SIXTH loan spell of his career at just 23… as he prepares to join Bundesliga club having yet to play a senior game for Pep Guardiola
Manchester City right-back Issa Kabore is set to leave the club again on a sixth move after returning from his loan spell at Benfica that was cut short.
City had been keen for the defender to spend the entire season on-loan at the Portuguese giants but ended the agreement after just six months to bring him back to Manchester.
Kabore, 23, is now set to join Bundesliga side Werder Bremen on loan for the remainder of the season with the player keen for more regular game time.
The City academy graduate only played seven times in all competitions for Benfica during his time in Portugal, making just two starts in those appearances.
However, the reigning Premier League champions will be hoping Kabore is given greater opportunity to develop in Germany with Bremen keen to get a deal over the line.
Having returned to City only last week, the first-team hopeful is set to make a switch to another new surrounding having previously been sent out on five loan spells at various clubs.

Kabore has previously played in the Premier League while on loan at Luton Town last season
The Bundesliga side are currently sixth in the German top-flight and have ambitions to climb into the European places with the club just two points adrift of the Champions League places.
Kabore has experience in the Champions League this season, representing Benfica twice in the competition but is still yet to make a competitive first-team appearance for City.
He has however earned further appearances around Europe and in the Premier League during spells at Luton and Marseille amongst others.
Kabore’s existing deal at the Etihad runs until 2027.
