MP Major General Tariq Naseer, Secretary-General of the Protectors of the Homeland Party and First Undersecretary of the Defense and National Security Committee in the Senate, won the position of Vice-President of the Arab Parliament, after a fierce competition with a number of candidates, which reflects great appreciation for his role and contributions in strengthening joint Arab parliamentary work.
In his speech on this occasion, Major General Tariq Nusair expressed his happiness and pride in this victory, stressing that this responsibility comes at a very important time, as the Middle East region is going through delicate circumstances that require strengthening the unity of the Arab ranks to face common challenges.
Naseer added, saying: “Standing together as Arab countries is necessary to preserve the interests of the Arab nation, and achieve stability and security in the region.”
