Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 bride Jamie Marinos has opened up about last night’s explosive episode where she and Dave Hand got into a verbal scrap with Lauren Hall and Clint Rice, revealing more happened behind the scenes.
ICYMI, this week’s episode of MAFS was jam-packed with screaming matches and heated moments after intruder couple Lauren and Clint decided to isolate themselves from the group.
The reason? Well, Lauren believes that her co-stars — specifically Jamie, Awhina Rutene and Beth Kelly — are “boganic” and are a pack of “drunk bogans”.
However, things reached boiling point during the last night of the Couples’ Retreat, when Jamie caught wind that Lauren called her a “troll”.
While Dave and Jamie were initially pissed at Lauren and Clint’s shady, snooty behaviour, the argument is then redirected to Jamie’s friends, Carina Mirabile and Rhi Disljenkovic, who were silent when Jamie was being confronted.
Towards the end of the hullabaloo, Jamie voiced her anger with Carina and Rhi, and left the campfire alongside Dave.
“My friends have completely dropped the fucking ball,” Jamie shared following her big blow-up with the group.
“I literally put myself out there to defend everyone, so don’t sit silent when it’s my time to cop it.”
It was bloody explosive, and MAFS fans have A LOT to say about what went down between Jamie in the group.
Since the dramatic episode aired, Jamie has since revealed that Lauren had actually called her way more names. However, those moments did not make it into the final edit.
“I’m just gonna say there are a lot more names I was called that didn’t make it to air, by Lauren,” Jamie told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
Furthermore, Jamie also revealed that Rhi and Carina tried to speak to her after she left the campfire alongside her on-screen husband Dave. During this off-screen moment, Rhi tried to explain her side of the argument, but the discussion turned into a moment where Jamie had to console her fellow bride.
“They did try to speak to me afterwards. I think Rhi gave the same spiel of her having finding it difficult to express the words in the moment,” Jamie began.
“It was almost like I had to start comforting Rhi because Rhi was crying and then I was just like, ‘Wait, no, I don’t actually have the capacity right now to comfort you, because I’m like, it’s the first time I’m really hurt.’
“Carina kind of gave me this, kind of, she just tried to put it on me. She’s like, ‘I just thought you’re so strong, like you can handle this.’
“And I was like, ‘Okay, fair enough. Like, no, you’re so right. I am so strong. Please let this grown man swear at me, and please let this woman continue to call me names. You are so right. And thank you so much for being such an excellent peacemaker and Switzerland, we need you in the UN Thank you.’”
Has Married At First Sight‘s Lauren Hall reached out to Jamie Marinos?
During her mammoth tea spill, Jamie shared that Lauren had not reached out to her, but understands “why she’s been in hiding”.
As for her connection with Rhi, the fan-favourite bride confirmed they have a relationship. However, for Carina, it appears their friendship has remained sour post-MAFS.
“Carina, I’m sure if there’s like a pap photo or something, she might be there, or a girl’s reunion, she might be there. But you know, she’s not someone who reaches out or checks in or anything like that,” Jamie shared.
“I don’t think she’s really interested in having friendships with the cast.”
At the time of writing, neither Carina nor Rhi has spoken publicly about the ‘yuge kerfuffle. Regardless it’s truly sad to see a full-on friendship crumble because of the actions of a third party.
And it looks like things will be coming to a head between Carina and Jamie in tonight’s episode of Married At First Sight.
