MAFS Fans Support Eliot Over Cooked Argument With Veronica

Tonight’s episode of Married At First Sight (MAFS) promises some juicy baby news and heated spats, so I’ve got the popcorn ready to enjoy this shit show. But if it turns out that the ~baby~ is just Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand adopting Billy Belcher’s fish, I’m gonna riot.

So here we are again, about to discuss the most recent episode of MAFS. This is your official spoiler warning, so look away if you don’t want to ruin the episode.

I’m serious! This is your LAST Married At First Sight spoiler warning.

Now, last night’s episode was kinda hard to stomach. Awhina Rutene and her sister Cleo were annihilated by Adrian Araouzou, his best friend JasminEats and his sisters Elita and Nikola. We’ve been given a lil’ glimpse into the fallout.

“He just said stay because he wants to re-control the narrative and pretend he’s stepping up, but in reality he wants to tell everyone how bad I am,” Awhina tells producers. “I don’t know what I’ve done that’s so wrong.”

Girl, keep your head up! You’ve done nothing wrong and the whole of Australia is behind you.

Adrian, Jess, Elita and Nikola continue their lil’ pow-wow outside the restaurant dragging Cleo and Awhina. Adrian reckons he’s “genuinely done nothing wrong”.

When Awhina gets back to her apartment, in strolls the walking red flag. It seems like he’s fishing for an apology, but Awhina isn’t having any of it. The pair have a spat and Adrian storms off again. GOOD RIDDANCE!

Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly are acting like they’re in love (??). He dips her without dropping her on the floor, and I guess that’s all that you need for a successful marriage?

Next to meet their family and friends are Carina Mirable and Paul Antoine. Paul is reunited with friend Johnny and sister Anna, while Carina has invited her sister Marie and aunt Maria

Maria hits the couple with some horny questions about their sex life, which is kinda unexpected.

“Obviously you sleep together. Yeah? The sex life is good? The French, you know, are pretty good,” Maria says. It’s très awkward.

Our intruder couples are still completing their intimacy week tasks, and it’s Veronica Cloherty and Eliot Donovan’s chance to spill their deepest secrets in a letter.

Eliot tells a story he’s never shared with anyone before, and it seems pretty vulnerable. He reveals that when he was nine years old, his sister was diagnosed with Type One diabetes and fell into a coma.

Veronica is furious with Eliot’s letter and believes he hasn’t shared anything deep or emotional enough. They argue and Veronica storms out. Yikes. It’s kind of dividing the audience, and I’m not sure how to feel.

To cleanse our palate, we have a happier scene with Jamie and Dave meeting their loved ones. They’ve invited Dave’s mum Brenda and mate Steve, Jamie’s mum Vicky, dad Michael, sister Georgia and aunty Lynie

Dave tells the group that Jamie MAKES HIS SOUL SMILE, which is the cutest thing I’ve ever heard. These two are too damn gorgeous. Jamie’s dad Michael gets a bit emotional over how lovely the couple are together, which is really sweet.

“I must admit it, I wasn’t expecting this. I’m actually short of words, I didn’t anticipate hearing what I heard today,” her dad says.

Next up is Morena Farina and Tony Mojanovski’s meet and greet. From some cheeky spoilers floating around, we’ve heard that Tony is about to drop a big baby bombshell. They’re meeting Tony’s friends and Morena’s friends Mikri and Josephine.

Morena’s friends reckon that the bride has gone through a massive change, and she doesn’t seem like herself.

Mikri and Josephine pull Tony aside, and he comes up with an excuse for why he was turned off Morena when he found out she was 57 instead of 40. And folks, it’s a doozy. Apparently, Tony now wants a baby?! It seems like it’s news to the producer as well, who calls it “pretty new information”.

When Tony tells Morena about his baby revelation she’s miffed, and doesn’t buy it for a second.

“Tony and I have been in this experiment for weeks and weeks and weeks and he’s never uttered a word that he wants to have a baby. Where did it come from?” Morena tells producers. “Serious? You’re 53. Very strange, it doesn’t add up.”

Looks like these two are probably leaving the experiment soon!

Back to Veronica and Eliot, who are trying to sort through their problems. I don’t know what’s happening here, because I’m a bit on Eliot’s side? Who knew the “dirty stinky rat” Eliot could actually… seem *semi* decent?!

<em>But how did you FEEL Eliot Image Nine<em>

Veronica refuses to listen to Eliot and appears to want to fight. It might be that Lauren Hall has poisoned the well, and this couple was doomed from the beginning.

In the end, Veronica yeets out of there and it doesn’t look like these two are getting closer to reconciling at all.

That’s it for tonight folks, and what a ride it was! Tomorrow’s dinner party looks spicy, with Paul apparently making a big admission at the Dinner Party. I can’t wait!
