MAFS Fans React To Awhina Rutene’s Decision To Stay In The Experiment With Adrian Araouzou

Every week, Adrian Araouzou — Awhina’s joke of a hubby on MAFS — has proved to be one of the show’s most vile grooms ever.

To give you a quick rundown of all the BS Adrian has put Awhina through, he has texted and hung out with another bride behind her back, he has gaslit her, abandoned her because he wasn’t in a Channel Nine promo and more.

Most recently, Adrian, his sisters, Elita and Nikola, and his ‘friend’ Jasmin Weston, were put on blast for the disgusting way they treated Awhina and her twin Cleo during Family and Friends Week.

While you’d think that whole debacle would push Awhina to finally leave the experiment — no ifs or buts, like half of the grooms in this experiment — the 30-year-old bride chose to stay so that Adrian could get a proper redemption week.

GIRL, WHAT?

You see, throughout the whole commitment ceremony, Adrian tried to navigate the narrative of Family and Friends Week, with the controversial groom whispering to Awhina throughout the whole episode, demanding she doesn’t bring up the whole shit-uation.

It even got to a point where fellow bride, Veronica Cloherty, told them to SHHH.

When they finally made it to the ouch couch, Alessandra Rampolla pushed the pair to talk about Family and Friends Week. However, when Awhina was about to speak up, Adrian cut her off, expressing that he didn’t want to “go into details” and that he thought it was “disrespectful” to get into the nitty-gritty.

Despite this, Alessandra continued to push for the tea.

After some suspenseful silence, Awhina began to chat about what happened, but she was ultimately cut off by her joke of a man.

Amongst all the ruckus, Dave Hand piped up and defended Awhina, demanding the groom to let her speak.

“She looks at you for permission to speak, mate,” Dave spouted to which Adrian replied, “That’s bullshit”.

When expert John Aiken asked Awhina if she agreed with Dave’s statement, she said she “feels like it’ll cause a rift between [her and Adrian] if [she] goes into detail about certain things”.

“I don’t want to hurt Adrian’s feelings. I care about him,” she shared.

Towards the end of their ouch couch sesh, Awhina and Adrian both choose to stay in the experiment, DESPITE everyone seeing Adrian for what Adrian is, a poo poo partner.
