Hold up. Did Married At First Sight’s (MAFS) Clint Rice and Jacqui Burfoot just get engaged during the MAFS 2025 Reunion Dinner Party? Here’s what we know.
If you’re wondering why the streets of Australia are soooooo quiet, it’s because everyone is more than likely tuning into the long-awaited Reunion Dinner Party for MAFS 2025.
The Reunion has been tipped to be one of the most explosive MAFS episodes in history, and it’s also the episode where the whole cast learns about Clint and Jacqui’s new relationship, leaving Jacqui’s MAFS ‘husband’ Ryan Donnelly blindsided.
However, during an MAFS Reunion viewing event, hosted by So Dramatic!, it appears that the controversial pair stole the show a second time.
In honor of the MAFS Reunion, So Dramatic! hosted a viewing party at Sydney’s Arcade Bar, which featured a bunch of VIP guests, including Jacqui and Clint.
Towards the end of Jacqui and Clint’s Q&A sesh, Megan Pustetto said, “Clint, you have a bombshell not even Jacqui knows about”.
After taking the mic from the So Dramatic! host, the Tassie-based groom went on spiel about how much he loved Jacqui and how they “talked a lot about [their] future”.
“We signed for Married At First Sight to get married… So, I’ve got one question for you,” Clint asked before pulling out a box and getting on one knee.
After a couple of tears — and the crowd yelling at Jacqui to “stand up” — the self-proclaimed Miss New Zealand said yes! You can peep the full video here.
Fellow MAFS 2025 groom Dave Hand then came into view of the camera, taking a photo of the ‘yuuuuuge rock Clint got for his MAFS wife.
In the gossip podcast’s Instagram post, it is confirmed that Clint “just proposed” to his new MAFS wifey.
“Clint got down on one knee during our Q&A and popped the question with a stunning custom-made 5.08ct oval diamond solitaire ring set in platinum and 18ct yellow gold from @simoncurwoodjewellers,” So Dramatic! wrote.
“Looks like Jacqui found her stay-at-home dog dad and fairytale ending after all!
“CONGRATULATIONS JACQUI & CLINT! We are so happy for you both!”
While the news is still quite bloody fresh, neither Jacqui nor Clint have taken to their Instagram accounts to confirm their new relationship status.
However, with all that hullabaloo, the rock, So Dramatic’s post AND that speech from Clint, I believe that this proposal could be legitness. And honestly, I hate to admit it, but Clint and Jacqui definitely stole the Reunion’s thunder with this massive announcement.
