Madbouly: We will not leave any governorate without development work being extended to it

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, made television statements, after the end of his tour in the Suez Governorate, which he began this morning, to inspect a number of service and development projects in the governorate. 

The Prime Minister began his statements by saying: I am pleased With this visit that we made to the Suez Governorate, accompanied by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development, Minister of Health and Population, and Lt. General Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, along with Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, and Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, and we are all hosted by Major General Tariq El Shazly, Governor of Suez. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly congratulated the people of Suez on the occasion of their celebration of the governorate’s National Day. , which coincides with the historic victory of the Egyptian state in the October War of 1973, and the great steadfastness of this valiant city, which made October 24 the National Day of the Suez Governorate. 

The Prime Minister added: Today I was honored to inspect a number of large projects. Which was needed by the Suez Governorate to follow up on its implementation, including the very important project that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, had directed to create a group of distinguished housing units for the people of the governorate. 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said that within the framework of This project was completed today through the “Urban Development Fund” The first group of contracts was delivered to the beneficiaries of this large project, which includes 13,260 housing units, all of which are at a very distinctive level of finishing and design, and are located in distinctive locations in the heart of the city of Suez. 

The Prime Minister indicated that he directed The work of landscaping the site and paving the internal streets will be completed quickly, during the next short period, as we began offering the units successively, in order to achieve the complete readiness of the site before the residents receive their units. 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly continued: We then moved To inspect one of the Egyptian-Japanese schools in Suez Governorate, noting that this school is scheduled to open its doors to students tomorrow, Sunday, and it is the second Egyptian-Japanese school in Suez Governorate. 

The Prime Minister praised the experience of Egyptian schools. The Japanese described it as a very distinguished experience. It was adopted by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, based on his visit to Japan some time ago, where he directed that this model be replicated in a large way in Egypt. Thank God, this model has already become present in all governorates, and in this context, the Minister of Education and technical education should accelerate the implementation of more of these schools in all governorates of Egypt during the coming period, considering that this is the model adopted by the Egyptian state in the basic education file. 

The Prime Minister added: We then moved to a project that prepares A cultural interface for all of Egypt, not just for the Suez Governorate, and it is the “Suez Medical Complex”.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said: This complex is the President of the Republic’s gift to the people of the Suez Governorate, as it has become an international complex by all standards, in light of the level of… The design, finishing, and operation that are currently being carried out are at the highest level, noting that the complex provides many health services to the people of Suez and the entire Canal Region, noting that a number of the people of eastern Cairo can also benefit from the services of this civilized medical complex, which provides highly advanced medical services.&nbsp

The Prime Minister explained in this context: The citizens of the Suez Governorate were forced to move to Cairo in the event of any accident or health problem, but with this giant, very distinguished project, advanced health services have become easily provided to the people of Suez.< /p>

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that this model has become available throughout Egypt and the state is seeking to strengthen it, and it will be part of the comprehensive health insurance system for the Suez Governorate.

He continued: We then moved to a group of large and important factories. Within the governorate, where we visited the “Knauf” gypsum board factory, and although this factory is a branch of the “Knauf” company, German, it now provides its services not only to Egypt but to the surrounding region as well.

The Prime Minister added: We listened to the head of the factory, who confirmed that the Knauf factory had entered into expansions that would add production capacity equivalent to 3 times the size with which the factory began at the time of construction. With new investments amounting to 80 million euros, which will be pumped over the next two years, so that the factory’s production reaches from 15 million square meters to 60 million square meters.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said that this covers the state’s needs for national projects. Pointing out that the production of “Knauf” He contributed to the implementation of tower projects in the New Administrative Capital, the New Alamein Towers, train and subway stations, and many other projects that used the products of that factory, and most importantly, the “Knauf” factory It exports its products abroad to a large extent.

The Prime Minister indicated that the point of the visit that followed the German Knauf factory was to inspect the “Universal Furniture” factory. Which exports all of its production abroad with Saudi investments, and those in charge of the project are keen to carry out larger expansions of the factory.  Dr. Mostafa Madbouly talked about his inspection of the “Rohrpumpin Egypt” factory. It is a company specialized in producing pumps, adding: Less than two years ago, this company was presenting its activities in one of the events organized by the Investment Authority, and that was in front of the President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, where the company presented in this regard the vision of the factory to cover the needs of the Egyptian market. For pumps for the benefit of both the Ministries of Petroleum and Housing. 

The Prime Minister continued: At that time, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, directed; By providing all support to establish the factory, today we see the factory producing large numbers of pumps, and exporting part of its production abroad to Latin America and Europe, including Germany, the company’s home country. Locally, the company has begun to cover an important part of the sanitation projects and seawater desalination projects that it implements. During the television statements he made after the end of his tour in the Suez Governorate, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly addressed the governor’s request to accelerate the pace in order to finish developing the Suez Culture Palace project, after its development work stopped due to the lack of resources. The necessary financial resources for it.

In this regard, the Prime Minister indicated that he and his accompanying delegation visited the site of the Palace of Culture, as a visit to the building was not included in the visit program, explaining that the Ministries of Planning and Local Development, as well as the Governorate, were directed to provide funds. The value of 100 million pounds is required to complete the project and open it as quickly as possible as a gift to the people of the Suez Governorate.

At the conclusion of Haditha, the Prime Minister stressed his keenness to end the tour of the historic walkway in Port Tawfiq because of the very important memories it represents for the people of the Suez Governorate. Pointing out that the promenade has a wonderful view of the Suez Canal, and it was developed by the governorate in just two months, and today we are opening it as a gift to our people in Suez on the occasion of the governorate’s National Day. 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly thanked the Governor of Suez. The Prime Minister also confirmed the continuation of the approach of making a weekly visit to each of Egypt’s governorates. To follow up on the ongoing development and development work in the various projects that were a dream for the people of these governorates. 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed the continuation of the implementation of vital projects for the benefit of the people of the governorates; To make up for the long periods of neglect she was suffering from; Due to the lack of funding and not placing it on the development map, pointing out that what the state is currently aiming for is rebuilding all the governorates of the Republic.

The Prime Minister stressed: We will not leave any governorate without development work extending to it, referring to the demand of the Governor of Suez. By including the rural sector in the governorate in the presidential initiative “A Decent Life,” as well as demanding the development of the old popular housing areas that were built after the glorious October War more than 50 years ago, as directives were given immediately to move towards fully developing these areas.

At the end of his statements, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly renewed his congratulations to the people of Suez on the governorate’s National Day.
