Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, made this statement during his visit Today to Minya Governorate, in television statements, he indicated at the beginning that his visit today to Minya is the second field visit in the Upper Egypt governorates during this time after the visit to Luxor, pointing out that it is possible to start talking about the impact of the projects starting with the road to reach “Minya”. Which today took only about two or two and a half hours, while reaching it 5 or 6 years ago took about 4 or 5 hours. Therefore, the road network that was implemented answers any questions or skepticism about its importance and the extent of its priority, considering that the matter does not stop. Upon reaching the governorate only, but it extends the ability of investment to access it more quickly and easily, thus providing a greater opportunity for employment in the industrial areas in Minya, and thus providing more job opportunities for the people of Upper Egypt.

The Prime Minister pointed out that today’s visit targeted 3 centers far from the capital of Minya Governorate, namely: Samalut, Maghagha, and Adwa, which are not considered large centers, compared to Minya and Malwa, and therefore they were not previously important like The capitals of the governorates, but what was striking was the size of the service and development projects implemented by the state in these three centers.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly indicated that his visit began with Samalut Central Hospital, which he visited more than 3 years ago, to inspect it before the opening. And employment, and today it is operating at full capacity, receiving all citizens, and providing services that were not available within Minya Governorate, such as advanced medical services, important surgeries, treatment of cancerous tumors, and therapeutic services that are now available to our people in Minya, which the citizen there was forced to travel outside of Minya to receive. Such services, considering that this is an important part of the human building system and the focus on the human element, especially health and education services.

The Prime Minister added that the Adwa Central Hospital, which was also included in today’s visit, is nearing completion and will enter service within Next month, with a trial run, it will be added to the medical system in Minya Governorate, which includes approximately 6.5 million people. It is one of the governorates that will enter the second phase of the comprehensive health insurance system, and thus it will be one of the largest governorates in the system, because it contains a large population.

In this context, the Prime Minister indicated that he was keen to check on the existing infrastructure in the governorate, and to listen to the explanation from officials in the Ministry of Health, who confirmed the extent of the development achieved, not only at the level of hospitals but also health care units, And ambulance points, and other medical services that have reached citizens in remote rural areas.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly also touched on what he witnessed today at the sewage treatment plant in the village of Bartbat, west of Maghagha, noting that this plant serves about 300,000 people. population in 17 villages.

He pointed out that in 2014, the coverage of sanitation services in Minya Governorate in rural areas and villages did not exceed only 10%, and the state worked to cover those areas before implementing the Decent Life Initiative, where it was Double this number to a coverage rate of 20%.

In this regard, the Prime Minister indicated that with the completion of the projects of the first phase of the presidential initiative " “Decent Life”, the implementation of more sanitation projects will be completed in Minya Governorate, and by the end of next March, the percentage of sanitation coverage in the governorate will rise to 60%.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly added that with the completion of the second and third phases of The initiative will cover 100% of Minya Governorate with a sewage network, pointing to the large amount of investment and spending that the state has borne in this regard. The Prime Minister stressed that this is not only a concern for infrastructure, but a contribution to building humanity, because these services are linked to public health. and sanitation, all of which affect the quality of human life and health, adding that the road network also contributed to human building, because it shortened time.

He stressed that the state will continue to implement such types of projects that serve the citizen and reach him in a comprehensive manner. Directly.

The Prime Minister pointed out that he will continue his tour in Minya after this conference, where he will inspect the drinking water station in the Adwa center, to highlight the importance of this project and the extent of the service it provides to citizens, who were relying on other sources of water that were not sufficient. And there was a need to upgrade it.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, confirmed that the governorates of Upper Egypt witnessed the development of nearly 60 sewage stations over the past period, all of which were transformed into advanced dual sewage, or Triple, and we are now able to use water from those stations and ensure its purity.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the volume of work and development witnessed by facilities in Egypt, especially health, educational and service facilities, does not mean that there are no challenges, but these challenges are what It requires us to work more and continue day and night in order to complete the rest of the targeted centers with these services, and other centers that aspire to have sanitation services, drinking water, and road networks reach them.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that the state has spent investments for these projects. Huge, and it had no alternative to implementing it, even if this partially affected the increase in the state’s public debt and increased spending.
