Madbouly said – in his speech during the opening of the Abydos (1) solar energy station in Aswan today, Saturday – that this opening of the Abydos station is evidence that Egypt allows… An unprecedented opportunity for the national, Arab and foreign private sector to invest on its land for the benefit of the Egyptian citizen.

Madbouly conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the efforts made to complete and implement the electricity and energy sector plan in general, especially new and renewable energy. Expressing his happiness to participate in the celebration of the opening of the Abydos solar power generation station with a capacity of 500 megawatts, which is implemented by the “EMEA Power” company. Emirates.

He pointed out that Egypt’s Vision 2030 is based on the principles of comprehensive sustainable development in its three economic, social and environmental dimensions, and energy is one of the basic pillars for achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 and bringing about comprehensive development in various parts of the country and the lifeblood of development in various areas of economic and social life. In addition to being one of the most important pillars of Egyptian national security, comprehensive sustainable development plans in all fields are linked to the state’s ability to provide the energy resources necessary to implement these plans.
