Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, during his inspection tour today at the Egypt Digital Innovation Center “Cretiva” Giza, accompanied by Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and a number of ministry officials, presented a number of laboratories for incubating startups, innovation, and the Egypt Digital Generations initiative, as well as specialized training laboratories in the fields of digital manufacturing, 2D and 3D design, and programming.

Dr. Amr Talaat indicated that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology had contracted with the company “500 Global” Global, which is one of the largest and most active investors in startup companies in the world, especially in the Middle East and North Africa region; With the aim of operating the Digital Egypt Innovation Center “Giza”; As a global vital center equipped at the highest level to develop the capabilities of emerging companies and support digital creativity and entrepreneurship among young people.

During the tour, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and his companions inspected specialized training laboratories in the fields of digital manufacturing, two- and three-dimensional design, programming, The basics of electronics included in the center; Where he reviewed the activity of the Maker Diploma program, which is implemented within the framework of the “Egypt Manufactures Electronics” initiative, in cooperation with the “Sanaa Tech” company, and aims to enable participants to transform their creative ideas into prototypes of smart, implementable products within three months of practical training. Intensive.

The Prime Minister also inspected the training halls and spaces provided to implement digital creativity nurturing activities, including brainstorming camps, incubators and business accelerators. For companies, training for those in charge of these companies, and networking forums between them and investors, in addition to a training camp for managers of incubators and business accelerators, in cooperation with the “500 Global” company. global; To enhance the capabilities of supporters of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and startup companies. In this context, Engineer Ahmed Al-Dhaher, CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Authority (ITIDA), reviewed the authority’s efforts in promoting the growth of the emerging technology companies sector and spreading the culture of entrepreneurship in society. Reviewing the range of activities and events that are implemented within the center in the areas of technological training, entrepreneurship support, awareness sessions and seminars, in addition to the results of its partnership with the Faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Cairo University. To spread creative thought, support and motivate students, and sponsor graduation projects, as well as networking activities; With the aim of empowering young people in the fields of technology, in addition to providing joint work spaces to encourage cooperation between independent and innovative professionals.

 

Within the framework of supporting and empowering emerging companies, Engineer Ahmed Al-Dhaher explained the results of the partnership work. The Prime Minister also reviewed another company that has made a qualitative shift in the digital transformation of healthcare by digitizing medical records and linking all elements of the health system on one platform supported by artificial intelligence, where It serves more than 200,000 patients and 1,000 doctors.
