Libya denies its ability to increase oil and gas supplies to the EU

The country’s Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, stated that Libya has no chance to increase oil and gas supplies to the European Union.

Aoun said, “Libya cannot increase gas or oil supplies to Europe because it does not have them now.”

According to the minister, in order to increase oil production in Libya, there is a need to modernize and manage oil facilities in an effective and transparent manner.

Earlier, the Italian oil and gas group Eni announced that Russian oil and gas could be replaced with Libyan oil.
