It is noteworthy that the Arab-Islamic Summit, which was held in light of the tense conditions taking place in the region, aims to follow up on the results and recommendations of the previous summit, continue ceasefire efforts, and facilitate the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid, in addition to discussing the continued escalation of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territories and Lebanon.
The Arab Islamic Summit, or follow-up summit, comes as an extension of the summit hosted by Riyadh on November 11, 2023, which witnessed the presence of leaders of more than 50 Arab and Islamic countries.
