Lauren Sanchez sparks speculation she’s had ‘more’ plastic surgery in new Instagram video

Lauren Sanchez, fiancee of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has sparked renewed interest in her appearance in a social media video about her upcoming trip to space.

Sanchez, who will embark on a Blue Origin mission with an all-female crew next week, has been speculated in the past to have undergone a facelift as well as injectable fillers and Botox.

Plastic surgeons told DailyMail.com that in the video posted Thursday morning, she appears to have undergone additional fillers in her cheeks and lips as well as fresh Botox around her eyes.

Dr Timothy Katzen, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, said: ‘With the neck, it gets thinner, you can see it loses fat and sags a bit, but this doesn’t happen with other areas.

‘So I think she had something injected into her face – either filler, fat, or cheek implants.’

Comparing the latest video to photos of Sanchez at the inauguration, Dr Smita Ramanadham, a board certified plastic surgeon, said it appeared as though Sanchez has undergone additional fillers and Botox, particularly around her eyes and brows.

Dr Smita said: ‘In that case, that does need to be done every three to four months. That’s typically the duration of Botox. So that’s something that could have been done between [January] and now.’

Sanchez will be part of Blue Origin’s eleventh human flight that lasts about 11 minutes, taking passengers about 62 miles above Earth, allowing them to experience a few minutes of zero gravity.

Sanchez posted an Instagram video showing a small device she’ll take on her flight to the edge of Earth’s atmosphere. It records acceleration, sound, temperature, and pressure in zero gravity, with the data to be used in K–12 classrooms

Sanchez may have undergone a recent procedure to surgically shorten the space between her nose and upper lift, also known as a lip lift, Dr Smita said.

She added: ‘In the [presidential] inaugural picture [in January], she definitely has this pout, pursing of her lips, and she has filler in there.

‘In the video [posted Friday], it does look like her upper lip is a little bit more full and has more volume than this still picture.’

Oftentimes, overfilled lips lose what surgeons call ‘landmarks’ on the lips, such as the vertical lines that become more or less pronounced when the mouth moves.

Lips are naturally expressive and should move fluidly when we talk or smile.

However, overfilling or incorrect filler placement can interfere with this movement, sometimes resulting in a stiff or unnatural look – often referred to as ‘duck lips’ – where the lips appear frozen or out of sync with facial expressions.

‘I do think that she does have a good amount of filler in her lips and she’s talking normally,’ Dr Smita said.

‘But I do think if she were to really purse her lips, if you were to see some different movements from her, like, if she was using a straw or something like that, I think that’s when it might be a little bit more noticeable that some of that movement is subdued.’

The areas around Sanchez’s eyes are also bright and line-free, which doctors said could be a result of Botox around her eyes or a more invasive procedure that refines the upper eyelids by removing excess skin and strategically trimming fat pockets for a natural, youthful look.

Sanchez, seen at President Trump’s inauguration in January, reportedly had Botox around her mouth and a less common procedure using permanent rather than dissolvable lip fillers.

Plastic surgeons said Sanchez's lips, particularly her upper lip, is fuller in the video released Friday, suggesting that she has received more injections in the past two months

Dr Rukmini Rednam, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Texas, said: ‘It would explain the smoother appearance with less upper wrinkling to her eyes.’

Sanchez has also been rumored in the past to have undergone a brow lift and potential follow up treatments to keep them from sagging and to smooth forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet.

Dr Smita said: ‘For me, what’s more noticeable is just the brow position,’ which was more lifted in the video.

On Instagram, Sanchez was speaking and being expressive—raising their eyebrows naturally as people often do when speaking animatedly.

Photos of Sanchez at the inauguration captured only still moments without facial movement, which made her brows appear less elevated.

Dr Smita said: ‘She definitely had Botox to lift her brows, and then whether or not she had the brow lift at some point is difficult to say.’

Sanchez posted the video to Instagram displaying a small rectangular device that will accompany her on her flight to the edge of Earth’s atmosphere that records acceleration, sound, temperature, and pressure in the ship as it enters zero gravity. The information it gathers will be used by teachers in K-12 schools.

Ms Sanchez has mentioned have some non-surgical beauty enhancements in the past, but has never confirmed any procedures.
