She stated that the state has implemented huge national projects with the participation of The private sector in many sectors, pointing to the Egyptian government’s strategy for green transformation by attracting the private sector, and the government’s plan to increase the development and dissemination of renewable energy to achieve the goal of reaching 42% of the installed capacity of renewable energy by 2030, which confirms Egypt’s commitment to accelerating the transition to renewable energy sources. During the meeting, the two sides discussed enhancing areas of cooperation in aluminum manufacturing, as aluminum is the most important export of the Republic of Tajikistan by 50% of the value of exports. Cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and water desalination was also discussed, and the possibility of exchange in the field of agriculture in light of the two countries’ excellence in this sector, in addition to cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of tourism and benefiting from the Egyptian experience in this field.
