The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of the “Eid like Other” campaign. Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the General Secretariat for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment organized many recreational, cultural, artistic, sports and religious activities. inside 18 hospitals and centers affiliated with the secretariat at the governorate level, with the participation of 350 recovered people, in addition to awareness seminars through cultural and religious places, and sports clubs.
For her part, Dr. Manen Abdel-Maqsoud, Secretary-General of the Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, indicated that the “Eid unlike any other” campaign It aims to encourage men and women recovering from addiction and help them provide good conditions for spending events and vacations, as part of rehabilitation programs to reintegrate them into society again, within the framework of the presidential initiative “Your Health is Happiness.”
Dr. Manen Abdel-Maqsoud added that it Within the activities of the “A Holiday Like Another” campaign, The Secretariat held a football league for those recovering, with the participation of 140 recoveries, noting that the hospitals of the General Secretariat for Mental Health provide several awareness and rehabilitation programs, as part of the activities of the “A Holiday Than Others” campaign. A number of beds are provided for recovering patients to stay during the holidays in hospitals to help them overcome the high-risk times.
