Launching 10 preaching convoys for female preachers in the governorates

The Ministry of Endowments launched 10 advocacy convoys for female preachers in the directorates of “Cairo – Giza – Sharqia – Gharbia – Sohag – Beni Suef – Aswan – Ismailia – Dakahlia – Minya” today, Friday, December 27, 2024 AD, as part of the advocacy activity for female preachers. Under the title: “The phenomenon of underage marriage… its causes and ways.” Addressing it, amidst a warm welcome and great demand for the lessons of female preachers, comes within the framework of the Endowments’ attention to the role of women and their involvement in advocacy activities, within the advocacy, scientific and cultural activity of the Ministry.

 

And during The convoy’s female endowment preachers stressed the necessity of achieving ba’ah upon marriage, which is the ability to bear responsibility for the family in all its aspects and consequences, not just sexual ability. Just that if the fatwa changes with time, place, and situation, then the conditions and circumstances of our time and the consequences of forming a family require intellectual and social maturity, and the ability to bear responsibility and the consequences of building a family. So that she is not destined to fail, and to make her children homeless and psychologically destroyed.

 

The female preachers stressed that the marriage of minors is a crime, and that holy law does not specify a specific age for marriage; Therefore, what the people have known as a general custom and have enacted as a law must be adhered to and not deviate from, as long as what they have known does not conflict with the legal texts of definitive significance and proof, and this closes the doors to corruption and chaos. 

They also stressed the necessity of commitment. By the official legal contract documented by the official authorized persons only; To preserve the rights of women and children, and the integrity of the family and society.
