The Formula One 2025 Australian Grand Prix has officially come to a close with Lando Norris crossing the finish line first, winning Melbourne‘s WAP (Wet Ass Prix).
ICYMI, a bunch of driver bae‘s have flocked down to Melbourne this week, all revved-up for the excitement that is the Formula One Australian Grand Prix. Although most of the weather over the Grand Prix weekend was quite the stunner, Sunday gave us a soggy AF race, leading to a lot of cheeky slip-ups and nail-biting moments.
But after all the carnage, it was McLaren’s Lando Norris who won the race!

With Norris nabbing the winning spot, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen clutched in second on the podium with Mercedes’ George Russell copping third.
In devastating news, Norris’ teammate, Australia’s Oscar Piastri, just missed out on a podium spot after he slid out of first place in the 44th lap. Piastri was aiming to become the first Aussie to win on home soil, but unfortunately, those dreams came to a halt. Ultimately, the Aussie driver placed ninth.
In 2024, smooth operator Carlos Sainz Jr copped first place, with Charles Leclerc nabbing second and Norris placing third. Talk about a comeback, amirite?
With a new supreme, that closes out the Formula One Australian Grand Prix for 2025.
See ya at the next vroom vroom, bestie!
