California will not be left out in the cold this summer when it comes to Lady Gaga‘s North American arena tour. The singer announced Tuesday that she will be bringing her Mayhem Ball to Los Angeles for four nights and San Francisco for three shows. These seven added concerts will take place in the Golden State in late July and early August, not long after the U.S. leg of her international outing kicks off in Las Vegas.
Gaga will perform at San Francisco’s Chase Center on July 22, 24 and 26, followed by her four-night stint at L.A.’s Kia Forum, which will take place July 28-29 and Aug. 1-2.
Several different ticket presales for these seven added Live Nation concerts are staggered across the coming days, beginning this Thursday at noon PT. A general onsale begins next Tuesday at noon at LiveNation.com.
The announcement of California shows was highly anticipated, to say the least, with fans assuming that a non-compete clause with Coachella might have prevented the concerts from being revealed when her first round of U.S. dates was announced nearly a month ago. As widely expected, hese shows slide neatly into what had appeared as a gaping two-and-a-week hole in her schedule right after the opening U.S. dates, which are scheduled for Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena July 16-19.
The first of the presale offers for the new dates will be for Citi cardholders, from Thursday at noon till next Monday at 11 a.m. (all times Pacific). Verizon customers will get their own presale starting Friday at noon, and also wrapping up Monday. An “artist presale” will begin Monday, April 28 at noon. Access to that sale requires participating in a signup in advance at this link, during a two-day window that runs now through Thursday at 7 a.m. Finally, following those three presale opportunities, the general onsale starts April 29 at noon. Gaga is coming off two successive Friday night headlining appearances at the Coachella festival. The singer has not spoken directly about whether the Mayhem Ball tour will take its cues from her Coachella production and costume design and setlist or offer a different experience. But fans may be happy either way, given the highly positive critical and public reactions to those two desert shows, which were seen by millions around the world via livestream.
These summer and fall arena shows in the U.S. can be considered an underplay for Gaga, who last played stadiums in North America, and who will indeed be performing in those larger outdoor venues in some of the territories she is playing outside of North America this year. Whether she will return in 2026 to play stadiums remains to be seen, but with the tour still only set to hit nine North American cities this year, demand will very much outstrip supply before she comes back around.
Prior to her U.S. tour opening in Las Vegas July 16, Gaga has dates booked in Mexico, Brazil and Singapore for April and May, starting this weekend. But those pre-U.S. dates are marked on her concert calendar only as “spring 2025 dates,” without the “Mayhem Ball” tag applied to everything from Las Vegas on. So fans may still have to wait till mid-July to get an idea of what the vast majority of her 2025 touring will really look like.
As for the just-wrapped Coachella, Gaga left few scoffers in her wake. “Maybe no one will ever outdo Beyoncé 2018 for sheer dazzle in headlining Coachella sets from beloved divas,” Variety wrote of her opening show there. “But it sure felt like Gaga had spent the last seven years going ‘Hold my beer’ and thinking up ways to make her own mark… The bar for pure entertainment and talent needed to be raised this high at Coachella again… Blessed with a smart sense of dynamics — musical, theatrical, emotional — that extends across the board? She must’ve been born that way.”
