Kmart’s new $29 cleaning gadget solves a problem all Aussies face: ‘I can’t believe how well it works’

Kmart customers have described a new $29 cleaning gadget as a ‘game-changer’.

The rechargeable window vacuum cleaner delivers streak-free cleaning with ease and deals with dusty, unsightly glass surfaces in seconds. 

The tool has a container for water, a rubber blade attachment and a microfibre cloth for a professional-grade result. 

Most notably, a charged battery lasts for 40 minutes, allowing a full house clean in one use.

The vacuum is similar to a $30 version released by the brand in 2021, but now has a larger water capacity, new attachments and a more seamless design.

The new version also comes with the microfibre attachment. 

The original cleaner was a popular item and was comparable with high-end $200 versions from Bunnings Warehouse.

It’s not the first cleaning buy from the retailer to fly off shelves this year, with the $79 cordless spot cleaner also a huge hit with shoppers. 

The handy gadget can be used to clean carpets and rugs, car interiors, stairs, fabric upholstery and more. 

The budget retailer demonstrated how the buy works in a video posted on TikTok, which had shoppers eager to buy. 

‘This is the best way to keep your home spotless,’ a woman said in the clip. 

‘It’s cordless, lightweight and super easy to carry around. You just fill it up with water and low foam cleaning solution.’ 

After using the product to clean a beige couch, the water turned dark grey after collecting all the filth within the material. 

It’s also the perfect alternative to spending thousands on expensive cleaning equipment and can be used thoroughly on spots or marks. 

The video quickly caught the attention of others, many of which were intrigued by the product.
