Dr. Manal Awad indicated that the Ministry By supporting owners of handicrafts and heritage in improving the level of products and facilitating their participation in various local exhibitions in the governorates and others organized by various agencies and ministries such as " Our heritage " And our homes " Pointing out that the Ministry contributed during the current session of the exhibition " Our Heritage 2024" In the participation of 21 owners of these crafts from Sohag and Qena governorates in the ministry’s pavilion.
The Minister of Local Development also explained that the ministry also has a " Hands of Egypt " To market handicrafts and heritage crafts electronically, which currently includes 2,000 craftsmen from various governorates, especially the governorates of Upper Egypt, pointing out that the ministry has signed a protocol with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency to support women working in these industries, and the entry of a large number of women who own handicrafts and heritage crafts on the platform in which it cooperates. The Ministry is working with the World Food Programme, and is currently communicating with some private sector companies to assume responsibility for supervising this platform and supporting the marketing and advertising of products in a way that contributes to increasing sales and providing job opportunities.
