Vice President Kamala Harris made a not-so-subtle dig at President-Elect Donald Trump by cropping him and wife Melania Trump out of her Jimmy Carter funeral tribute post.
In a move her fans dubbed ‘the best photo crop of the decade,’ Harris, 60, chose a photo that stopped short of including Trump, 78, in the frame at Carter’s funeral on Thursday in Washington, DC.
‘President Jimmy Carter loved our country. He lived his faith, served the people, and left the world better than he found it,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘President Carter’s many contributions will echo for generations to come.’
The photo ended at former President Barack Obama, who was sitting next to Trump at the event and with whom he appeared to be chatting amicably before the service started.
However, the president-elect wasn’t entirely missing from the Instagram photo.
Trump’s hand can be seen peeking out over a stone column in the photo Harris posted.
It appears the stone pillar may have served as an obstacle for photographers, as The Carter Center also posted a photo where Trump could not be seen except for his knee.
Trump has not publicly commented on Carter’s service on his various social media pages, nor on the apparent snub made by his former presidential rival.
Several Harris followers couldn’t help but call out the apparent dig, with one writing: ‘This crop is legendary.’

Carter’s funeral was full of glacial moments between the group of politicians.
His service was meant to be a celebration of the former-president’s life, a time to set aside political differences and come together to remember a great man.
But that was seemingly too much to ask from America’s former heads of state.
For while Carter, who died on December 29 at the age of 100, was known as a gentle soul who brought warring parties together, but there seemed to be little unity in the pews.
The service held at Washington’s National Cathedral on Thursday morning marked the first time all five living presidents and their spouses – minus Michelle Obama – have been together since Donald Trump won a second term in the White House.
As each presidential couple entered the nave, they took their seats in the second row and acknowledged the other mourners who had arrived before them. Or, at least, that’s what they were supposed to do.
Trump, who is chronically online, has not publicly commented on Carter’s service on his various social media pages, nor on the apparent snub by his former presidential rival
Obama took his seat next to Trump and the pair immediately struck up what looked like a very amicable conversation. Trump was so concentrated on their jokes that he turned his back on Melania completely, leaving her alone at the end of the row
Trump was the first former chief executive to enter the church, flanked by Melania.
She wore a Valentino dress that featured two lovers kissing on the collar.
Her fans speculate it was a print of the sculpture ‘The Kiss’ that was originally conceived by a larger sculpture titled: ‘The Gates of Hell.’
‘How fitting to wear in a room full of traitors,’ one of her fans wrote.
Meanwhile, Trump – who wore a black suit and a blue tie – stopped to talk to his former Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, who quickly busied herself with her program the second she saw Trump approach.
Obama arrived next and received a warmer response from Gore and Pence.
After saying his hellos, Obama took his seat next to Trump and the pair immediately struck up what looked like a very amicable conversation. Trump was so concentrated on their jokes that he turned his back on Melania completely, leaving her alone at the end of the row.
President George W. Bush nonchalantly strolled in with Laura, looking less like he was arriving at a state funeral and more like he had just finished a large lunch.
He walked straight past Trump without offering a hint of recognition and clumsily scooted by Obama, tapping him on the stomach.
As Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, arrived, they slid into their front row seat without any pleasantries.
Harris was later seen letting out a sigh when seeing Obama and Trump talking.
Last were President Joe Biden and the First Lady, Jill Biden. No one stood to greet them either, but the icy glance exchanged between Jill and Kamala may well have won the hotly-contested award for the day’s most glacial gaze.
