The iconic adidas boots worn by David Beckham in his heyday are back on the market – and Jude Bellingham is the poster boy for the relaunch.
Bellingham has been chosen to model the Predator boots that the former Three Lions captain made famous throughout his illustrious career.
Beckham used the Predator boots – famed for their fold-over red tongue – to create some legendary moments, including scoring from the halfway line against Wimbledon in 1996 with the Predator Touch and then using the Predator Accelerator to deliver the two corners in Manchester United’s dramatic 1999 Champions League final comeback win over Bayern Munich.
Now, Bellingham is aiming to follow in his footsteps, with adidas vowing that their new boots are an upgrade for the modern goalscorer.
The Predator 25 has been designed to enhance the grip between boot and ball, while there is also additional cushioning for player comfort.
They are now available in selected retailers and on the adidas website, with prices starting at €60 (£50).

The new boots are designed to enhance grip between boot and ball, while also adding extra cushioning for player comfort
Bellingham has developed into a superstar on the pitch, with the 21-year-old shining for Real Madrid and England.
Beckham also starred for the Spanish giants during his own career while captaining his country, and Bellingham appears to be a leading candidate to take over the armband from Harry Kane when the Bayern Munich star calls time on his international career.
But there are also similarities between Bellingham and Beckham away from the pitch.
As well as having a comparable taste in football boots, the pair have also starred in underwear adverts.
Beckham has been happy to strip down to his briefs for H&M, while Bellingham signed a deal to be an ambassador for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand last year.
Bellingham modelled the underwear ahead of Euro 2024, and even got to meet Kardashian in person as the pair posed for selfies together.
Kardashian may not be the only high-profile celebrity that Bellingham is rubbing shoulders with either.
Reports in Spain have claimed that the attacking midfielder may have started a new relationship with popstar Aitana.

Bellingham and Aitana have been ‘liking’ each other’s posts on Instagram and the singer has been spotted at the Santiago Bernabeu on multiple occasions to cheer on Real Madrid.
If the rumours are true, then this would be another thing that Bellingham and Beckham have in common, with the latter married to former Spice Girl, Victoria.
David and Victoria have four children together, and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year.
