Jude Bellingham’s mum and girlfriend Ashlyn Castro pictured together for the first time since ‘side-eye’ saga

Jude Bellingham’s girlfriend Ashlyn Castro and mum Denise were spotted together for the first-time since their ‘side-eye’ saga on Saturday afternoon.  

It was revealed in January that Bellingham, 21, and Castro, 27, were dating, with the footballer going public with his new partner in February.

Since then, Castro has been spotted in attendance at Madrid’s Bernabeu cheering on the England international as his side look to close the gap on leaders Barcelona. 

On Saturday, Castro was once again seen in the stands at Madrid – alongside Bellingham’s mum Denise – watching on as Bellingham inspired his side’s comeback.

Pictures showed the model arriving at her seat before settling in and keeping a tentative eye on the match.

Meanwhile, Denise watched on from the row behind and went through a mixture of emotions through the game as Madrid came from behind to seal a win. 

When Castro accompanied Bellingham to watch a match last month, many fans suggested that there was a supposed frosty interaction between her and mum Denise. 

As the TV cameras panned to the high-end area where Bellingham was watching the game, a screengrab that circulated on social media appeared to show Denise giving a side-eye to Castro. 

A side-eye glance is usually interpreted as expressing disapproval or contempt towards somebody and fans were quick to react to the moment.

However, it has since been revealed that the screengrab took their interaction out of context.

In fact, a short video of the moment was subsequently shared on social media where Denise and Castro appeared to share a joke.

The initial shot of Denise looking towards her son’s new partner was seemingly an attempt to get her attention, before the pair were seen laughing.

Meanwhile, during Saturday’s clash, Madrid took the lead through a Kylian Mbappe penalty before Leganes quickly turned the match on it’s head with two swift goals. 

The hosts went in at the break a goal down but quickly restored parity through a smartly-taken finish by Bellingham just two minutes after the restart. 

That proved the catalyst for Madrid as they went ahead once more, later in the game, through Mbappe – who scored his 33rd goal of the season for the team. 

The start of Castro’s relationship with Bellingham had been marred by claims about Castro’s past along with an escort site hoax.

She was previously linked with Hollywood actor Michael B Jordan and NBA stars LaMelo Ball and Terance Mann, while a viral video also claimed that Castro had dated Lewis Hamilton and Jamie Foxx after making tenuous links between social media activity.

However, in an emotional monologue on TikTok of more than 10 minutes, Castro put to bed several false rumours. 

‘I don’t even know where to begin, but I’m going to try my best to just get into it,’ she said in a video that was titled ‘The hardest part is not speaking the truth, but finding the courage to do it’. 

She went onto debunk several claims made about her, including allegations of being unfaithful. 

‘It makes me super uncomfortable talking on camera about my personal life,’ Castro added. ‘I’ve never even really spoken on camera too many times, so bear with me.

‘Every angle you can think of, people have attacked me, harassed me, been so disrespectful. It’s just been too much.

‘Let’s talk about this dating history. I’ve had three boyfriends over the last eight years. In 2017, I was in my very first relationship and he’s a public figure, so because of that, I’ve dealt with people talking about me, making up things about me.

‘There was nothing on the internet about me prior, so people kind of just made up a bunch of things to justify hating me because of who I was dating at the time.

‘And then over the last six years after that, I’ve dated two people. So three relationships in total.’
