Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals how she lost her driver’s licence after she was caught breaking simple road rule
Jackie O Henderson has revealed the reason why she lost her driver’s licence after weeks of speculation.
The radio star, 50, said she was caught wearing her seatbelt incorrectly while trying to protect a fresh spray tan.
‘I always wear it over me, but it was just that one day because I had got a tan,’ Jackie explained during her KIIS FM show on Monday morning.
She said she was put on a 12-month good behaviour period, which means she had been driving with one demerit for a year.
However, Jackie lost the point in the final week before earning all her points back.
‘I got through the whole year by one week and then lost it,’ she said.

Daily Mail Australia was the first to report rumours Jackie had lost her licence and was being ferried around Sydney in her SUV by an elderly gentleman who isn’t related to her.
Jackie then confirmed she lost her licence two weeks ago and said she was struggling not being allowed to drive.
Speaking with fellow KIIS FM stars Cooper Johns and newsreader Brooklyn Ross, she said she had been gifted a trip to the Blue Mountains by her friend Gemma O’Neill for her 50th birthday.
But she questioned how she was going to travel to her weekend away, which is more than 110km away from her home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, now that she is unable to drive herself there.
‘Gemma – my best friend – she’s given me a weekend away to a silent retreat,’ she said live on air.
‘I’m gonna have to catch the train because it’s to the Blue Mountains and I don’t have my licence!’
What is normally a 1.5-hour drive to the Blue Mountains would end up taking double the amount of time on public transport, with the star likely having to catch a bus and two trains to get to her destination in just over three hours.
It comes after Jackie rang in her 50th birthday in style live on-air last month with her KIIS FM co-stars – but there was one notable person missing from the celebrations.

The radio star’s colleagues threw a lavish birthday party to mark the milestone occasion, however her co-host Kyle Sandilands was not in attendance because he was off sick.
She was treated to a huge table of party food and posters featuring never-before-seen throwback photos of Jackie as a child set up to commemorate the event.
She was joined by her close friends, including show producers Intern Pete Deppeler and Cooper Johns, as well as her daughter Kitty, who sweetly called in to wish her mum a happy birthday.
Jackie looked flawless and half her age on her big day as she had fun with her co-stars.
