Head, who has had an outstanding period in Aussie cricket, will sit out Australia’s  one-day and Twenty20 series versus Pakistan to be with his family.

The couple announced they were expecting in June via social media, with Jessica posing side on in a glamorous black evening gown, proudly holding her growing baby bump.

‘Milla’s best friend loading,’ they wrote beside image, alongside a red love heart emoji.

‘We couldn’t be more excited to be growing our beautiful, happy family in November. What’s a little more chaos?’ they concluded.

Travis Head and Jessica Davies married in the Adelaide foothills in April, 2023.

‘I’ll probably make decisions in the future around family more,’ Head said in October.

‘What drives me to play is probably more my family and my teammates.

‘I’m not really interested in the individual stuff or where my career might go to, aspirations from an individual perspective.

‘I want to provide for my family, I want to play with my mates and I want to enjoy what I’m doing.

‘I think I’ve done that really well over the last couple of years.

‘I still love playing cricket, I love playing Test cricket and I love playing for Australia and I’ll continue to do that but … I think it’s important to support the family as well.’
