The Israeli army carried out several missile attacks on targets south of Damascus in the early hours of the morning of June 10, according to the official Syrian News Agency (SANA).
According to media reports, most of the missiles launched from the Golan Heights were shot down by the Syrian air defense systems. A civilian was injured as a result of the raid, and the material damage has not yet been assessed.
According to SANA, the attack occurred at 4:20 local time.
The Israeli version of “Haaretz” newspaper indicated that this is the second report in a week on an Israeli raid on Syria. Prior to that, Syrian state television reported the operation of air defense systems in response to an Israeli raid on the southern areas of Damascus on Monday, 6 June.
Last month, the media reported that five people were killed as a result of an Israeli raid on Syria. It is noteworthy that the occupation army fired at least eight missiles towards the city located in Hama governorate.
