Infowars host Alex Jones reveals secret to dramatic weight loss amid Ozempic claims

Infowars host Alex Jones has finally addressed long standing rumors that he used Ozempic to lose weight.

Speculation has run rife on social media for months now that the notorious conspiracy theorist, 51, has achieved his drastic weight loss by using the popular semaglutide.

Jones has appeared much slimmer during recent broadcasts on his website, with many viewers noticing that his face has become more gaunt than before.

Furiously firing back at the claims in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday, Jones insisted that his transformation is the result of daily workouts and ‘good genetics.’

Wagging his finger at the camera, Jones said, ‘I would never take that stuff. It paralyzes your intestines, eats your heart muscle. No thank you.’

He continued, ‘This is hard work, diet, and exercise. And a lot of supplements. You don’t keep your muscle when you take Ozempic. I’ve kept all my muscle and gained more than I had, but I have great genetics.’

Jones then said that he’s been working out seven days a week for the past eight months and taking long 14-mile hikes.

‘Most people won’t transform as fast as me because they don’t have the genetics as good as mine,’ he bragged.

‘You look at old photos of me when I was younger, I barely worked out and looked like a Calvin Klein model,’ he continued.

‘Most people won’t get the results as quick, but you will get the results.’

He then flexed his bulging bicep to the camera and said, ‘You don’t get THIS on Ozempic, stupid!’

In another post to X, the podcaster wrote, ‘Do not use my health transformation that is meant to help myself and inspire others to push poisonous pharma drugs!’

Muscle loss is one of the most common problems associated with taking a semaglutide like Ozempic — which happens as a result of rapid weight loss.

When the body shifts weight quickly, it breaks down muscle in order to boost energy levels in the absence of extra calories.

However this can result in disastrous consequences including poor balance, increased risk of bone breakages and cosmetic problems like loose skin on the face and body.

Studies suggest muscle loss can constitute up to 39 per cent of the person’s total weight loss while on the drugs — which work by mimicking the ‘fullness’ hormone GLP-1.

Additionally, a new University of Alberta study discovered that Ozempic had caused the heart muscle to shrink in mice.

Weight-loss shots like Ozempic and Wegovy can also lead to gastrointestinal problems.

DailyMail.com has contacted Jones for comment.

Jones’ anti-Ozempic tirade comes after a reporter for his InfoWars website was brutally murdered late on Sunday night.

Jamie White was found mortally wounded outside his home on Douglas Street around midnight in a slaying that Jones blamed on Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza.

Police have called the incident a homicide but have not identified any suspects. The slaying had been investigated as a shooting/stabbing but authorities have not released additional information.
