Influencer Karen ‘Reyna’ Dunlap found dead aged 30 in abandoned house after auditioning for reality show
A Maryland-based social media influencer has been found dead after auditioning for the hit reality show Baddies.
The body of Karen ‘Reyna’ Dunlap, 30, was discovered in a vacant house on Francis Avenue in Kinsman, Cleveland, local police confirmed to Cleve Scene.
Dunlap boasted over 100,000 followers across her various social media platforms, and often went by the name ‘The Nude Queen’ online.
Her body was discovered roughly three months after she auditioned for the sixth season of The Zeus Network’s popular Baddies franchise, titled Baddies Midwest.
According to Cleve Scene, Cleveland police believe that Dunlap’s death is due to an overdose, but they are waiting for more information from the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Dunlap’s mother Karen Jones posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that her daughter ‘didn’t do drugs,’ while Dunlap’s sister Kira has opened a GoFundMe page to raise money for funeral expenses and to hire a private investigator to look into Dunlap’s death.
Speaking to 19 News, Jones said, ‘They suspected that it was an overdose. I said my daughter has never used hard drugs, talk to anybody.’
She continued, ‘I will stake my life that the toxicology is going to come back that she did not have any hard drugs in her system.’

Kira believes that her sister may have traveled to Cleveland to pursue the cast and crew of Baddies Midwest, which was filming in the area at the time.
‘She wanted to be on this show. She knew some of the cast members of Baddies. She had met [co-creator and star] Natalie Nunn before,’ Kira said, according to People.
‘She knew a lot of people, and she was following where the Baddies were because she wanted to try to get on this show.’
Jones echoed Kira’s sentiment and said that her daughter was chasing fame before her death.
‘She loved being the center of attention. She just wanted to be a positive or negative force in people’s lives,’ Jones told 19 News.
‘Reyna was also very controversial. Reyna was kind, loving, and generous to a fault. She loved being around people and loved being the center of attention,’ she added.
Dunlap’s family are hoping to get a private autopsy done to determine exactly what happened to her.
They also plan to hold a memorial service for Dunlap in Maryland.
