Damietta University achieved a new achievement in international classifications by being included for the first time in the “QS” classification. The British Institute for Sustainability, which relies on 3 criteria: environmental impact, social impact, and governance, where it achieved 984th place among the 1,744 universities in the world included in the classification in the governance criterion, while it came in 1001st place among the world’s universities in the environmental impact and societal impact criteria.
The university stated in a statement issued today, Friday, that the classification includes several sub-criteria that depend on the extent to which The impact of universities on society and the impact of the academic field in social and environmental aspects, which confirms the university’s significant participation in global efforts that contribute to creating environmental and social change through scientific research, teaching and social participation.
The President of the University, Dr. Hamdan Rabie, thanked and congratulated on this occasion all those affiliated with the University.
