In the presence of a government parliamentarian…an expanded discussion session of the Secretariat of Parliamentary Affairs in Homat Al-Watan regarding the upcoming legislative agenda

Counsel Mahmoud Fawzi, Minister of Parliamentary, Legal and Political Affairs, announced that the government has prepared a legislative agenda to present it to the House of Representatives, in order to succeed in implementing the program that has won the confidence of Parliament.

 

< p>This came during the discussion session organized by the Secretariat of Parliamentary Affairs of the Protectors of the Homeland Party, headed by Representative Ahmed Bahaa Shalabi, and in the presence of members of the party’s parliamentary body in the House of Representatives and the Senate. 

Counsel Mahmoud Fawzi confirmed that the recommendations issued by The National Dialogue expresses the Egyptian political street in many issues, including, for example, what is related to the problem of guardianship of money, saying: We noticed major problems regarding it, which is what prompted us to recommend the importance of amending the law in this regard.

He pointed to President Sisi called for the necessity of having a societal dialogue regarding the Personal Status Law, especially since it affects 100 million Egyptian Muslims and Christians.

The Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs said: We noticed in the national dialogue a great interest in issues with a societal and economic dimension. Pointing out that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirmed that the national dialogue is continuing.

The minister revealed that he has created a database of problems and a plan to deal with them, as well as conducting a community dialogue regarding any file or laws, in line with the country’s requirements. And what expresses the hopes and aspirations of citizens.

The Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs explained that the human rights file is one of the files that the ministry focuses on, explaining that there is coordination between all state institutions to support Egypt’s position in this regard.< /p>

The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs thanked the Hamat al-Watan Party, stressing that it is one of the large parties with political weight, and has firm and honest positions, saying: We, as a government, are keen on strengthening the relationship and communication with the party.

For his part, Representative Ahmed Bahaa Shalabi, Secretary of the Parliamentary Affairs Secretariat of the Hamat al-Watan Party, confirmed that today’s meeting aims to put the final touches on the legislative agenda with the start of the fifth session of the House of Representatives and the Senate. 

The representative said: We are targeting a legislative agenda. Effectively expresses the concerns of citizens, achieves sustainable development, and achieves justice in providing services.

MP Ahmed Bahaa Shalabi indicated that the legislative agenda of the Protectors of the Homeland Party is based on commonalities with the government’s agenda, to achieve more effective outcomes, including It expresses the hopes of our people.

For his part, Major General Ahmed Al-Awadi, Chairman of the Defense and National Security Committee in the House of Representatives, confirmed that the fifth session of the House of Representatives and the Senate will witness an awakening of members of the Protectors of the Homeland Party.

He said: The representatives of the protectors of the homeland will be a beacon of activity to support the Egyptian state, especially in light of the difficult challenges facing the Egyptian state at all regional levels.

Major General Tariq Nosair, Undersecretary of the Defense and National Security Committee of the Senate, confirmed that the goal of the session Discussion: Coming up with recommendations that are beneficial to the country and the citizen, and translating them into draft laws It is being discussed. 

He pointed out that the protectors of the nation, with all its members, are very keen to interact on all national issues, in a way that achieves the highest interest of the Egyptian state.

Major General Ayman Abdel Mohsen explained, Head of the parliamentary body of the Protectors of the Homeland Party in the Senate, said that the party has an integrated plan to deal with all files, to complete what was done in previous sessions.

He pointed out that there is an effort to achieve integration between the government’s legislative agenda, as well as the party’s legislative agenda. In order to achieve the highest interest of the nation in all files.

MP Ahmed Bahaa Shalabi, Secretary of the Parliamentary Affairs Secretariat of the Protectors of the Nation Party, announced the preparation of a set of recommendations against the backdrop of the discussion session regarding the legislative agenda, including the most prominent demands during the coming period. And coordination with the government regarding giving it priority in preparation and submission to Parliament.
