Which includes several foundries and production lines equipped with the latest technological equipment capable of meeting the military and civil needs of fine, light, medium and heavy high-tech engineering castings that are used in many feeding industries such as “tubs of various sizes”, calf hubs, shakman furnace, and other feeding castings for the automobile industry. The tour included a visit to a foundry. "cento" Which was established to meet the needs of the armed forces and the civil sector in the country for engineering castings necessary for the manufacture of equipment, spare parts, and device components, and whose annual capacity is (20) thousand tons.
Minister Mohamed Salah also inspected The new sand processing station “Fioran” At “Sento” foundry Which is one of the most important requirements of the production industry, as it aims to raise the quality of the final product with the required standard specifications. This station operates according to the latest sand production technology, which reduces waste in the industry, which leads to improving the economic structure of the company and reducing losses.
During the tour, Minister Mohamed Salah heard In addition to the information and data reviewed by Engineer Muhammad Ali Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Helwan Castings Company, as well as the company’s work crews, about production rates and performance during the previous period, sales volume, production and marketing plans, inventory position, production requirements, the latest developments in the projects it is participating in, and the measures taken to implement their development plans.
During the surprise visit, the Minister directed the necessity of continuing to take the necessary measures to improve performance, apply quality standards in production operations, preserve the company’s available assets and resources, and adhere to implementation timings. Ongoing projects, in addition to emphasizing the need for all workers to commit to wearing industrial safety equipment and following Occupational safety and health instructions in order to ensure their safety while carrying out their work tasks and to ensure the provision of a safe work environment that ensures the prevention of risks for the human and material elements of the company.
The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Engineer Emile Helmy. Elias, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Military Production Authority, Managing Director, and Engineer Muhammad Sherine Muhammad, Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office.
