I’m the manager of a ‘legal brothel’ – here’s what it’s really like and who is most likely to visit
The manager of a ‘legal brothel’ has revealed what a typical day in her role looks like.
Catherine De Noire claims she is the manager of ‘one of Europe’s largest brothels’, which is thought to be based in the Netherlands.
Ms De Noire, who herself has an account on OnlyFans, took to her Instagram account to share what she gets up to on a typical day, including when it gets busiest.
She said that the brothel experiences a rush in customers between 12pm and 1pm, when office workers come in during their lunch break.
After a slump, it gets busy again between 3pm and 5pm, when married men visit so they can still get home on time.
From 8pm, the brothel sees ‘peak hours’ and will typically receive a ‘few hundred’ clients.
Catherine said: ‘The club runs on a strict 24/7 schedule, with staff always on-site to ensure smooth operations.
‘During the day, roles like HR, IT technicians, and accountants are on shift, and the clientele tends to have a different vibe.

‘At night, the atmosphere is more vibrant, with more people, more activity, and a lot going on. Then comes closing time, when the entire club is cleaned, restocked, and prepared to reopen in just four hours. And then, the cycle begins again.’
In the US, prostitution is only legal in Nevada, and brothels are active in seven of its 16 counties. However, prostitution is illegal outside of the brothels.
However, it is legal more widely in Europe in countries such as Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands. In the UK, prostitution is legal but owning or managing a brothel is illegal.
Many of Catherine’s followers were shocked and even more so at the clientele the brothels attracts.
They wrote: ‘I’m sorry married men??? Do their wife’s know they cheating??’;
‘I find it pretty wild that people visit during their lunch breaks!’;
‘People act as if the brothel is the problem; it isn’t. If your partner is going to cheat, they will’;
‘The fact that they leave work and go here so they “aren’t home late” is so sad’;

‘I wish nothing but the worst for cheating married men’;
‘Going to a brothel on your lunchbreak is insane.’
Catherine says her brothel opens at 10 when the first women arrive for the day shift, though there aren’t many customers at this time.
It picks up for the lunch break as office workers come in.
It gets busy again between 3pm and 5pm when ‘men who finish work early often stop by.’
Catherine explained: ‘These are married men who need to get home on time, so they can’t stay for the night.’
Most of the night shift workers arrive between 6pm and 8pm, when there’s another lull in customers.
From 8pm it is ‘peak hours’ and the brothel will typically see ‘a few hundred clients’.

Most staff and customers tend to leave around 5am. However, Catherine said this is also when ‘most alarms or incidents’ tend to occur.
At 6am the brothel closes and only customer care staff remain – ready for the cycle to begin once again at 10am.
She said married men will often visit if they ‘lack intimacy’ at home and ‘choose to pay a professional for this experience instead of finding a mistress’. She also said they could be bored in their relationship and want to seek ‘novelty and excitement’.
She said that the men may also feel too shy to share any ‘extraordinary fantasies’ with their partner and worry it could impact their relationship.
Catherine concluded: It’s important to note that this isn’t about assigning blame to either partner or suggesting it’s the man’s fault. Sometimes, life unfolds in ways that lead to these choices.’
