Iconic American sandwich chain is giving away $1M worth of toasted subs… here’s how to claim yours

Popular sandwich chain Jimmy John’s is giving out $1 million worth of new toasted subs for free.

The brand’s parent company, Inspire Brands, confirmed that it would give away sandwiches to lucky customers in a press release on Tuesday.

The toasted menu additions became available at participating Jimmy John’s locations on Monday.

‘No one does sandwiches like Jimmy John’s, and while we may be fashionably late to the Toasted Sandwich party, we’ve made sure they’re worth the wait,’ Chief Brand Marketing Officer of Jimmy John’s Darin Dugan said.

‘They’re everything you love about Jimmy John’s, now with a toasty twist.’

The chain ultimately chose to add three sandwiches starting at $8.59: Roast Beef & Cheddar, Ultimate Italian, and Chicken Bacon Ranch.

Entries are limited to one per person and available for customers logged into the Jimmy John’s app or website using the promo code ‘TOASTEDTUESDAY.’

The sandwiches were selected after Jimmy John’s tested various toasted items at more than 200 stores in nearly two years.

‘The brand listened to guest feedback along the way and modified the product line up throughout the test in order to develop the best products for national launch,’ Jimmy John’s said in a statement to USA TODAY.

Its Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich contains all-natural chicken with bacon, provolone cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo and ranch.

Customers looking to try a beefy sandwich may enjoy the Roast Beef & Cheddar menu addition.

The sandwich includes roast beef with bacon, cheddar cheese, horseradish, fried onions, tomato, lettuce, onion, and mayo.

Besides the chicken and beef items, fans can try the Ultimate Italian sandwich, which comes with capocollo, salami, ham, bacon, parmesan and provolone cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo, and oregano-basil with a bit of oil and vinegar.

Customers can also customize the toasted sandwiches based on their preferences.

Besides the new sandwiches and giveaway, Jimmy John’s announced its upcoming Toasted Truck.

The Toasted Truck will be offering free samples of the new sandwiches to customers in five US cities this month.

The truck will also be selling exclusive Jimmy John’s merchandise.

The brand announced the Toasted Truck would be an option for customers who ‘miss out on Toasted Tuesday.’

The restaurant chain will announce more information about the truck soon on its social media pages.

All the new and upcoming deals come after Jimmy John’s participation in last year’s value meal wars by offering a limited-time $10 Total Package Meal.

The sandwich chain was also part of the 2024 pickle craze, which received mixed reviews despite Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi starring in its promo video.
