I rented out my Airbnb when I suddenly had a bad feeling in my gut… you wouldn’t believe what I discovered when I knocked on the front door

An Airbnb host has opened up about her horror experience with a group of guests after finding scantily-clad sex workers hiding under her beds and in cupboards.
NSW woman Samantha Mannasz said she rented out her property in January to a group of 14 people who initially claimed to be relatives.
The first hint of trouble came when a neighbour told her there was a ‘whole bunch of guys’ in her paddock.
Ms Mannasz and her husband remotely checked the security camera vision and discovered ‘a lot of people were walking into the property’.
The owners messaged the principal guest, who lied and insisted the group was made up of her cousins.
‘So later on, I ended up driving past. I just had a feeling something was going down,’ Ms Mannasz said in a TikTok video.
‘I’m seeing girls walk in, these beautiful young girls, one was wearing fishnet stockings. Something just didn’t sit right with me.
‘At this point I was able to (evict) them because they’ve obviously breached the Airbnb policy.
‘But I don’t want to go and confront these people in person. There’s 15 to 20 men, and they’re probably intoxicated.
‘And here I am in their eyes, this Karen who has come to ruin their night.’
Ms Mannasz said she messaged the guests to inform them they would have to leave.
She then drove past the home ‘like a crazy person’ and realised nobody had left.
Instead, the guests simply turned the music and lights off to pretend they had gone.
‘I’ll give them credit for trying, they really did try to do everything in their power to stay,’ Ms Mannasz said.
‘I can imagine why, because these were high-end escorts. I’m sure they’ve spent a lot of money on these escorts.’
She called the police as her husband entered the property.
‘My husband gets there, and the main guy’s convincing my husband (and) the police, “Look, we’re not doing anything wrong, we’re not having parties, yes we did have some extra people here, I really apologise for that but they’ve left”,’ she said.
An Airbnb host has revealed how she kicked out her guests before finding ‘escorts’ hidden inside her house
‘[They were saying] “please, please let us stay, we have nowhere to go”.
‘My husband has me on the phone and I’m listening to them and I’m feeling sorry for them, I’m literally feeling sorry for these guys.
‘So my husband goes to me, “Babe, can we just let them stay, what do you think?”‘
But Ms Mannasz said she trusted her gut feeling that they weren’t trustworthy, and didn’t change her mind.
She said police enforced the notice and her husband walked into the house to find girls ‘hiding everywhere’.
‘There were girls under the beds, in the cupboards … [some] had coats on with lingerie underneath,’ she said.
‘Some of them obviously didn’t have time to find a coat so they just had their lingerie on.
‘[They] came out of the house and they were like scattering outside and calling people to pick them up.

The Airbnb host said the partygoers had tried to act as though they weren’t home when first evicted
‘Thank gosh I followed my instinct because it was wild … the first thing I said to my husband was “always listen to your wife”.’
Any lingering guilt she had for evicting the guests quickly disappeared when she found the home littered with cigarette butts and empty alcohol containers.
Social media users were outraged by the guests’ behaviour.
‘When I hear stories like this I always think to myself, “can you just imagine how they treat the house they live at if they have no care for others”,’ one said.
‘I hope the bride-to-be found out about what happened … how terrifying,’ another said.
‘If you told me my partner was doing this on a bucks weekend (the) marriage wouldn’t be happening,’ a third added.
‘Oh my goodness! Good on you listening to your intuition,’ another said.
